Funding our work
The ASAP Secretariat and programmes are funded through grants from private and philanthropic foundations. Mandai Nature hosts the secretariat and generously covers many of our core costs. The majority of the funds that the Secretariat raises goes directly into supporting our partners. This means we can invest more money directly in species conservation through the people leading the change.
The support of our donors enables us to support the critical work of the ASAP Partners who are at the forefront of securing a future for the most threatened wildlife in Southeast Asia. Many of the Partners that ASAP supports are very small local organisations with limited internal capacity to manage and absorb funding: the Secretariat plays a vital role in supporting these sorts of organisations, acting as a bridge between them and the larger donors.
