Fostering Biodiversity Conservation, Sustainable Livelihoods and Civil Society in Lao PDR

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Asia Regional Office is pleased to announce a call for proposal for projects addressing the theme of biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods, waste management, and/or the strengthening of civil society organisations working in these thematic areas.

This call is open to NGOs and CSOs that are registered and headquartered in Lao PDR. NGOs and CSOs that are registered and headquartered abroad are also eligible to apply, so long as they work only in Lao PDR and do not have activities in other countries. Please read carefully the following:

  • Budget template (Excel doc in English)

Applications can be submitted in English or Lao language (please request the templates in Lao at the email below if required).

Proposals (for 12-month projects of up to US$20,000) should be submitted by email to Thongsavath Somdachit, IUCN’s Biodiversity Field Coordinator (Thongsavath.Somdachit@iucn.org) and cc’ed to Phoutsakhone Ounchith, Head of IUCN Lao PDR Office (Phoutsakhone.ounchith@iucn.org) by 5 PM Vientiane time, June 21, 2019. Late applications will not be considered.
